LINGENFELTER ESCALADE FEATURED ON "TOP GEAR" AIRING TUESDAY, MARCH 19 ON HISTORY

Leave it to the team at "Top Gear" to find a way to showcase and evaluate even the most pedestrian of vehicles, including the common sport utility vehicle (SUV). But, if you're familiar with "Top Gear", you know that there is rarely anything common or pedestrian with their vehicle challenges and the vehicles they feature. A Lingenfelter Performance Engineering-prepared 2011 Cadillac Escalade SUV is one of three vehicles competing in "Top Gear's" SUV challenge.

The segment airs nationwide Tuesday, March 19 on HISTORY at 9/8 central.

Lingenfelter's Escalade features a bolt-on Magnuson 1900 TVS supercharger kit that also includes a C6 Corvette LS2 throttle body, LS7-spec spark plugs, a 160 degree thermostat and a CORSA Performance Sport Exhaust with 4-inch exhaust tips. Installed and tuned by the high-performance experts at Lingenfelter Performance Engineering, the Magnuson supercharger upgrade for GM's LS-powered SUVs adds more than 100 horsepower to the Escalade, with the package retailing for $9,995.

Hosted by comedian Adam Ferrara, champion rally and drift driver Tanner Foust and racing analyst Rutledge Wood, "Top Gear" features super-cars, extreme stunts and is home for anyone with a love of cars. New episodes of the third series of "Top Gear" on HISTORY continue to showcase an offbeat celebration of automobiles and driving.  The critically acclaimed and popular show attracted nearly 60 million viewers overall in its last two seasons. "Top Gear" is produced by BBC Worldwide Productions and is a co-production between HISTORY and BBC Worldwide. About Lingenfelter Performance Engineering
