NEW DATE FOR INTERNATIONAL TROPHY SALE

Silverstone Auctions has revised the date of its next classic car sale, the International Trophy Sale, which will now be held on Friday 17th May.
The sale will be the curtain raiser to the Historic Sports Car Club’s meeting which takes place at Silverstone circuit the same weekend. The auction will be held in Silverstone’s £27 million ‘Wing’ building and will include a host of classic cars, motorbikes, race cars and automobilia.
“After a number of sales on-the-road, it will be fantastic to return to our spiritual home at Silverstone circuit,” comments Nick Whale, managing director, Silverstone Auctions. “As we’ve proven in the past, the ‘Wing’ is an ideal venue for hosting high-quality classic car auctions and the added excitement of the HSCC race weekend will only add further interest to the sale.”
Although still nearly two months away, the first entry into the sale has already been confirmed as a 1968 Ford Mustang Bullitt Genuine 390 ‘S Code’ estimated at £40,000 to £50,000. The sale of cars will commence at 2pm following an automobilia and lifestyle goods sale which starts at 11am.
Entries are currently being invited into the auction and anyone wishing to have a lot considered should contact Silverstone Auctions on 01926 691141 or visit www.silverstoneauctions.com.
